As a member of Shoreham Bank's 2026 Internship Program, Alexander Thibeault is gaining valuable hands-on experience in the Auto Lending department, where they focus on funding packages and developing strong relationships with both dealerships and customers. Currently attending Providence College and pursuing a degree in Management and Finance, Alex is deeply passionate about finance and banking. He hopes to leverage the skills learned in school and during their internship to pursue management or executive positions within a financial institution in the future. Building on the skills gained from last year’s internship with the Auto department, Alex is excited to contribute to meaningful projects and create a positive impact in the communities we serve.

One Thing I Hope to Learn This Summer: I hope to learn a variety of skills in the Auto Department, including the funding and underwriting processes, while also establishing strong communication skills with dealerships, customers, and other businesses. I hope that these experiences will further my understanding of banking and how businesses work together to achieve their goals.
